It’s a work in progress (Crappy poetry)

Life as a child seems so hard.

Get dressed.

Clean your room.

Faster.

Slower.

Grow up.

It’s a work in progress, barely taking form.

Life as a teen seems so hard.

Get good grades.

Clean up your act.

Don’t get in trouble.

Who’s that boy?

It’s a work in progress, still waiting to be formed.

Life as a young adult is so hard.

Don’t fail.

Plan your career.

Where are you headed?

Who’s that boy?

It’s a work in progress, still unformed.

Life as an adult is very hard.

Pay the bills.

Take responsibility.

Make the grade.

Know where you are.

Be reliable.

Have a family.

What do you mean you are unhappy?

It’s a work in progress, where is the end?

Life as a young adult, was ok I guess.

Just starting out,

So new and exciting.

Count on the folks,

to help bail you out.

It was a work in progress, where did it go wrong?

Life as a teen was really not so bad.

Hanging with friends,

Playing so many games.

Let’s go to a party!

So many boys.

It was a work in progress, narrowing the field.

Life as a child was the perfect time.

Playing outside,

So many Friends.

No responsibility.

Hide-n-seek by street lights,

Counting the stars,

Nothing but time.

It was a work in progress, endless possibilities.

Where did it go wrong?

Where could it have changed?

The numbers show I should have it together.

It seems set in stone,

But everything is changing.

Nothing is stable.

It’s a work in progress, with no end in sight.

It’s a work in progress, and I need to fight.

It’s a work in progress, and I don’t want to fight.

I don’t want to fight.

Chin up.

It gets better!

Always keep fighting.

You should know better.

Never give up.

It’s a work in progress, it should be done.

It’s a work in progress, I want it to be done.

I want to be done.
